Just remembered why I avoid forums and all the twats that lurk within

This is what happens when the "introduce yourself police" gangs up and starts destroying the atmosphere around here.

The answer to the question has been given but to sum up, the R3 Touring has a redesigned rear end with a narrower wheel and other changes to accommodate the stock panniers. Therefore, the slipons for the Touring won't fit the other bikes with the wider rear. The upside for a non-Touring owner (and the downside for us R3T owners) is that there are options for custom exhausts available for the other bikes that aren't available for the Touring.

Don't give up on the board just because of the self-appointed guardians of the introductions, who think it's friendly to bark like dogs at anyone who shows up and just asks a question like a normal human would. It's a great resource for Rocket pilots.

Aw gee.

Well if that's how you feel, I've spent about as much time helping you as I'm going to. :roll: We know Croft doesn't much like anything and has either lost or never had a sense of humour, but slinging insults on your second post? Way to go. :confused:

You avoid forums by signing up on one and asking for assistance :rolleyes: maybe just go buy a workshop manual or ask advice at local Triumph Dealer. That way you won't be asked to say hello by us "twats" :mad:

Me thinks Jim was just being funny as usual. I laughed!
IMHO - The Mates were being friendly and not trying to spar with the OP.
Gas upon the embers of an old flame was unwittingly dropped by the OP, @pagmanic and then enflamed by @cr0ft who should know better!

I LOVE THIS FORUM!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
