Not more than 20 minuets ago I droped the driver and pillion seat as well as the sissy bar pad off at the post office and they are on their way to Russell Day Long so they can work their magic.

Dawg, please let me know what you and especially your pillion think with the finished product. I have no complaints, but my wife is not riding with me until mine is more comfortable.

Has anyone tried a "day-long" seat for the pillion? I contacted them and they will do the pillion only for around $400.

$400 sounds a bit steep..... But happy wife = happy life.... Or at least the sex is better - or more frequent

Not a problem, I probably won't see the seat back for at least 6 weeks if not longer. I am looking forward to it. Not cheap but I think it will be well worth the investment. I read through a couple of threads here on this forum a while back from a couple Captains who use the Day Long saddles and they have no complaints.

another solution could be the BUTTY BUDDY I sat on one and it was wide enough for comfort .
the price I believe is around $100 will fit over many different pillion ..
