I was thinking about fabricating a way to put a Road glide faring on my rocket

Any ideas, Has anyone tried it?
Opinions on how it would look?

I'd like to have a stationary faring so it cuts windbetter. Otherwise I guess the corbin route is the way to go.....

There used to be a picture of a yellow Rocket with a Road Glide fairing on here somewhere. If I find it, I'll post a link. Looked pretty good though. You still get to keep the dual head lights and the Road Glide (I used to own one) has the best headlights I have ever seen.

One that I haven't seen, but I bet would look better is a Valkyrie Interstate fairing. It's not frame mounted, but I think it would look great with the Rocket

Spongy ..
how do you post large pictures like your last post all I know is what the site tells me to do for pictures but I like the way yours stay on the page share the secret!!

If you add the picture as an attachment, then it will be made small.

To get the big picture (literally), upload the picture to a photo sharing site such as Photobucket and use the "Insert Image" button to add the link to the photo.

Patrick,
I run all my pix thru Photo Shop to size and reduce the file size.
I usually use 1000 pixels horizontal, which seems to fit my screen OK.
If you wish to control the size do not use the "Thumbnail" option.
This is 1000 pixels horizontal:
