Ride Share

Hoping to get folks to share some Rocket riding footage when the spirit moves them. Here's one to start things off of @Kevin frazier , @Nashvegas, and me last weekend on The Devil's Triangle, near Oak Ridge, TN.

They let me go by to get footage. This is a classic route with a variety of challenges.

I zoomed in too much on some of the footage, which degraded the quality in some places, but you get the idea. Video has a way of making everything look so "chill" (because the wide angle mostly). Well, we weren't race'n, but we weren't exactly following a group of Harleys, either.

I definitely didn't mean to exclude you, Jay. I'm used to passing by your neck of the woods when I used to come up from the south after doing the Dragon on the back roads way to see my friends in Crossville (they've since moved). I came over by I-40 and should have thought about where I was and to give you a ring.

Let's plan another ride very soon- maybe Aces and Eights that you and Wendy introduced me to? When are you available? I'll start another thread on it.

Next Rocket Ride in NC/TN/VA

Seeing who all might want to meet up soon (even as early as this Sunday, or later) to ride somewhere in the NC/TN area. This would be for a day ride. I still say The Snake (Hwy 421 between Boone and Bristol) is one of the finest stretches of blacktop in our area. Back of the Dragon in Virginia...
