can you change just the rev limiter in the tune ECU and if so what are the limits. I think I am going to try the Doebeck set up but want to raise my limiter a grand or so.

Raising the rev limit won't do anything unless you have enough torque up there to increase the HP.

mine would only raise to 6800 but i like that (with tuneecu )

The stock engines powerband is over by 6K. Raising the redline isn't going to do much for you since your not making any more power.

Tune ECU varies with models, some go to 6800 and some to 7000. A special tune will go higher. Tuneboy can go higher as well. So will PC V with and ign module and rev extend, to whatever rpm.

I am going to put the RamAir intake on my 15 X I already have big 4" high flowing Vance & Hines Pro pipe, so basically a stock head pipe straight to the v&h. I am going to use the Doebeck EJK tuner to do away with the O2 sensor. I am having problems with the pipe flowing so much it is bringing in cooler air through and throwing off the computer so I am "hunting" bad at idol.
