rev counter

Hi all, the rev copunter clock on my 2010 roadster just stopped working this afternoon at the end of a 70 miles ride to the coast. both my clocks had slight amount of condensation on the inside of both clock glasses. On the ride back home it started to work again but once home when turning it back on it wasn't working again.
Anyone got any ideas or is the rev counter just got damp in it.
