Replacing Negative Battery Cable

When I had mine made for the falcon I had them made a couple inches longer since the cable gauge would not be as flexible. Had the positive made at the same time. Tied a line on each as I pulled them so I could remember the orignal route.

There is a repair kit for the starter in Rocket 3.

Not a bad idea still to double the wires.

So if i can ask. what is this of doubling up negative cables? As in to literally route a second cable along side the original and bolt over top? If so im all for it as im literally right there puttin a new engine in!! Whats the perks of this exactly?
Also anyone know if i can just use the 05 starter solenoid plug from the harness to my 2014 starter?

I used a second neg wire and just went from bat to starter bolt. Seems to work and doubles the load it can carry.
I think my old cable was having problems with the connectors because it worked better.
Also went with the heavy duty starter
and that helped.

Yeah fyi, I was able to jus use the 05 starter solenoid wire connection. An exact fit to said newer engine
