Removing left side exhaust

I dont think taking off one side, by itself is a great idea. Im getting a feeling its gonna unbalance the exhaust pulses. The exhaust pulses and velocity have quite a bit of effect on the bike.
Im gettng ready to pull off my cat an put the bypass on then do the 12 tune to see if the ecu will correct enough on its own.
The dealer mechanic an I discussed this, and he said that it could be fine with the 12 minute tune from what he learned the triumph school. He suggestted I do that first before I pay him to add a new tune. You have to like a dealer that tries to save you money!!!

If you buy the TORs and cat bypass from Triumph, it comes with the tune upgrade also as part of the cost. I changed the cat box and TORs myself to save the labor cost (piece of cake). But, I was wondering if it could be riden back to the dealer which is a 100 mile ride. Service manager told me that after I got everything on to start the engine and let idle for at least 15 minutes AFTER the fan kicked on for the first time. The computer will retune itself to the maximum extent possible but it will still need the final upgrade tune from them. Am now waiting for this frigid-ass weather to pass so I can get back to the dealer for upgrade. I personally think the TORs and cat box replacement are sufficiently loud for me. It shed 27 pounds of the weight of the bike plus you will gain approximately 20 HP.
