This and the LX model are recommended for use with Tuneecu.

What Dougl said. I have the MX+ and used it to apply the Penner tune (more than once) to my Rocket and it works fine. Works perfect, only trap I fell for once is if you pair it to more than one device (I have the ODBLink software on both my iPhone and an Adroid tablet, with TuneECU just on the tablet) the wrong device might connect to it and then you are stuffing around with your TuneECU wondering why it can't connect!
