Hi all,

Is it recommended to reload tunes from time to time. It seems to me that right after I loaded my tune at the beginning of the season, the difference was very noticable, (almost lifting the front tire) but now it doesn't seem as snappy or as smooth throughout the gears.

I run an 09 Standard with D&D pipes and a K&N underseat with tune 20050TOR. Maybe there's a better tune? Dominator?

I've wondered if the bike has been adapting and just needs a fresh install of the tune. Am I out to lunch here?

Just curious, did resetting adaptives do it?

I haven't taken my seat off yet to plug in. I'm hoping to do that today. I'm actually thinking of trying the dominator tune out.

I actually ended up dropping my bike in the driveway the other day which has had me a little distracted. First time in the 4 years that I've owned it. Luckily I had the engine bars so the damage was minimal. The bar certainly did its job! I'll have to get a bag painted but otherwise no damage, other than my pride.

I would reload the same tune or reset the adaptives first so you can see if it makes a difference. Then after figuring out whether that did it or not stuff the dominator tune in if you still want to.
