Reinstating the Wheelie Machine

Before mounting a new rear one MUST do a burnout

So, clutch holds and the front brakes do as well lulz!!

Front brakes look amazing after some acid soaking and my first ever tire change is complete!!

She’s ready to road trip, mechanically at least!

Hardly a surprise though - was it. TiAN coated ones?

If I can find some cheap replacements I’ll do it, but this bikes not a money pit bike, she may go up for sale after RAA!

How poetic is that, first bike, brought back to life for first RAA attendance

I really hope Ken makes it. I wanna go play with another S3/Daytona family bike in the hills.

I also have to mention, the fully adjustable suspension...still adjusts 17 years and 2 months after being originally assembled. Everything works! I am in a state of disbelief, but, totally happy about it!

Here she is, done, and showing all her flaws. I am going to have the biggest possible smile the first time I smoke someone on a new liter bike through twistes on this old girl!!

The “Patina” is actually growing on me, a little ratty looking but fully functional and maintained, sleeper liter bike?!

First test flight complete... uh, yeah I remember why I stopped riding it now.

Instant hooligan mode when in the saddle.

It's such a paradigm shift after the Carpenter R3. INSTANT throttle response, good low end torque, but rip it open and there's just.... nothing lmao, I mean it runs like it should, it's just a 130 hp bike.

My rocket has definitely changes my concept of what "fast" is ahaha. It's also warped my concept of what "loud" is, I once thought the Daytona was loud... uh, nope, sounds like a sewing machine to me now.

Now to get these BT-016 Pros scrubbed in this week before RAA!

Rob,
So then you have gotten your rego issues resolved?
