Recall for 2020 Rocket 3 Rear Brake

Sounds like they did not do the job right the first time.
I did the bleed on my 2020GT twice before i got it right.. Seems the factory is leaving a lot of air in the portioning valve block which is at the high point of the system.
i bled the rear brake using only the foot pedal on the first two attempts, and it worked for a while till the air found its way back up into the block. The third time i used
a small vacuum pump on the caliper bleeder, AND used the rear brake pedal at the same time and got a lot more bubbles .. Took over half the bottle of DOT 4
to finally get out the remaining air.
Brake is hard as a rock now.

I do not think that they do it right - period. The Truimph Recall Bleeding Procedure specifies a tortuous manual two-person pump-and-hold bleeding job while the computer cycles the ABS solenoids. The DealerTool (http://dealertool.co.uk/) keeps the solenoids open long enough to bleed with a (single person) vacuum bleeder (https://www.amazon.com/ARES-70923-1-Liter-Vacuum-Brake-Bleeder/dp/B07CP1YLDF/ref=sr_1_1_sspa). I did mine once, probably eight months ago already, and no issue since then. Eight cycles total - the brake fluid exiting the calliper went milky at a point, which turned out to be a vast number of tiny bubbles, and that was the end of it. Be sure to open both front and rear reservoirs and to pump both the lever and pedal (even while only bleeding the rear brake) since they link through the ABS Controller.

Or it will be an ongoing problem. I guess twice isn't too bad although once should have done it. Even though I use very little rear brake it's still a safety issue and also an inconvenience. I do love my Rocket but all of these continual problems. They still can't figure out why every once in a while (once every three weeks or so) my Rocket dies coming off a freeway off ramp coming up to a red light it dies with clutch in at around 5 mph. It's done it 7 times in the 8 months I've had it on the road. It's always coming off the freeway when it happens. Very weird and somewhat dangerous. I now keep it in the back of my mind when exiting the freeway so I'm ready if it happens. It shouldn't be like that. I'm compromising and accepting its inconsistent behavior I believe. This last ride it was only 80 degrees but the right side of the Rocket was extremely hot more so than on rides in 100 degree weather so I'll ask about that also. Not unhappy with my Rocket but I don't have a ton of miles on it and I expect it to run correctly instead of being at the dealer for my 8th time. I don't know, if it wasn't such a blast to ride...

Exactly! Mine has had the brake bled twice by two different dealers and I feel it starting to go soft again, so it will inevitably be back. People will say "don't use the back brake". Well, I paid 20k for a bike, I expect both brakes to be working and if I was in an emergency situation I would love to be able to have both brakes at my disposal. The fact that there is no definitive solution or even consistent diagnosis is kind of alarming to me. I would think after so many people, there would be more coming from Triumph on the issue.

I would not accept ANY of this Mighty. Dying as you slow down!!! I would be saying fix or new bike.
Practice saying that in the mirror at home so it comes off naturally even though might not be for you.

You evidentially don't know me. I will go out of my way to for a conflict. :)They have looked at my bike 3 separate times for this problem and of course it has never done it for them. Realistically if it doesn't show up and stall when they ride their policy (or Triumphs) is keep bringing it in until it does. They would keep it and ride it when they have time. If it doesn't happen then what's to fix? That's their fall back. I don't have time for them to keep it for a month for them to try to find something that may not happen but if it gets worse I will have no choice. I told them about their civil liability and they agreed but when they ride nothing happens. This has happened intermittently to other members so evidentially it isn't just my Rocket. It's crap but I'm not up to letting them have my bike for months at a time although it may come to that. Lets hope not. If it does then I will be without a bike but they will not get me a new bike because mine stalls once in a while they would rather take the chance on a civil suit to Triumph than give me a $24,000 bike. Realistically, not much of a chance of me crashing because I know about the problem and they are willing to fix it if they knew what it does. Diagnostics show nothing. Of course it doesn't.

I see what you mean. The infamous " I swear it was stalling out" problem.
Maybe when they test ride after fixing brakes the 3rd time it will stall.🤞 or you may have to leave it. With a loaner of course!!!

Same happened with me. Happening over and over and then when I get there, they can't replicate it. Charged me $15 for their "time". A week later, brake is completely out and they take it. Ask for a refund from the previous week that they charged me and they said no. I don't enjoy that kind of "customer service".

When you exit the dealer leave $10.00/10 feet worth of rear tire tread on their clean asphalt lot. 😡
