Reband Retune - WOW - Procycle is QLD #1

gear change

Probably around 4300 rpm as the torque begins to taper off.

the most work an engine can do is at it's maximum power rpm so in Mittzy's bike that would be at 5700 rpm , torque is dropping but you are using a lower gear if you shift up before torque drop you are losing drive by going to a taller gear so you have to find the balance against leaving it in a lower gear while torque is dropping and losing drive against shifting up and losing drive ,that equilibrium is at max power rpm or may be a bit higher rpm say 6000 you are trying to keep engine at max power rpm because that's where the engine dose it's maximum work . hope that help's:)

secondaries

Seconaries have been disabled NOT Removed.

every one seems to go on about removing secondaries but maybe they don't really restrict anything ,your torque figure is the best i have seen with out doing internal engine work, Neville remove my secondaries so i just wonder if removing gives you more hp or torque

My understanding is they only restrict power and or torque in the first 3 gears at low revs so any change would not show up on a dyno. Shoot me down if I'm wrong as I don't know one way or the other just what I have been led to beleive. But then I go back to my farthers favorite quote ( Don't beleive anything you hear and only half of what you see )

Disabled = electronically removed (no chance of dropping tiny screws down the throttle bodies)
Removal = physically removed

I think its much the same :confused: I could be wrong

Sorry Mate I missed this post.
Below are some pics...............

Best looking headers of them all imo and nicely tucked in away from legs. Silencer likely to be a bit too loud for me though.

Good figures too with K&N's, I reckon there's more to come if you could get some decent bellmouths on there somehow.
