Hey Mittzy, the pipes sound pretty cool. Did you give it a run with no baffles as well and if so how did it sound?

One last thing, what is the diameter of these pipes (at the headers)?

Very nice Tony, on the subject of the heat shields I saw Gra53's when I was fitting his headlight relay kit and thought they looked very nice but could have been a bit thicker I think I would be making up an heat-shielding alloy backing for it, give a bit of strength plus slow some of the heat transfer...... just my thoughts

Hmm Nice thought tho...... if it turns out ugly, I can put the CF one in front

One last thing, what is the diameter of these pipes (at the headers)?

No baffles are fitted. Just the muffler filler. i did run it with the muffler having minimal muffler filler and yes it was loud.
I think the header diameter is 1 and a quarter inch.
Can measure tomorrow if you like.

Reband's are 1 3/4 tube which is Best for natural aspired rockets the Carp's will still work but are designed for a Carpenter enhanced motor which produces its HP at higher revs but apparently is still ok on a stock motor while the Reband's are designed and developed for power at more every day usability, Nevill Lush worked with Ric from Reband Exhausts to develop it to give the best for everyday riding.

True, but better that than burnt skin and scorched denim. Maybe Mittzy can make enough room in his workshop to come up with something sexier.

Thought of making the top of the sheilds into snake heads and the finish of the stainless being scales marked in with my sander or dremel.

yeah, but i think richard said something sexier...not uglier. snake heads and scales???? Mittzy, youre slippin mate...how bout Rockets or some sort of moulded soemthing so it shows off the curves and pipes but covers them.

come on mate...make me something...dunno what, but i gotta love it and gotta be what i want but dont know what that is.
