Has anyone made a sound sample video on those?

ahhh...i have another little issue...i'm not near my bike and it currently is in bits being rebuilt - (body and cosmetics not engine) and the exhausts are off. im having them re ceramic coated as i wasnt 100% happy with them.

Being first cab off the rank with these exhausts and the guinea pig for your RD means mine weren't 100% when it came to finish.

So im a few weeks off getting her back and in one piece. Will do a high def sound clip when I pick her up though.

Of course how could I forget, it's gonna look good, betcha cant wait.

Today I re-packed my Reband muffler.
Stage one: course woven fibreglass matting, siliconed the outer edges to try and keep it in place.

Then wrapped Ceramic fibre wool (25mm) and taped with masking tape.

Put it all together and made a short video. My bike is going back in the the dyno next week so it will run better, notice a little flame at about 16 second mark.

The camera was 10 paces away so it would not get distortion through the mic..

Very nice Tony, on the subject of the heat shields I saw Gra53's when I was fitting his headlight relay kit and thought they looked very nice but could have been a bit thicker I think I would be making up an heat-shielding alloy backing for it, give a bit of strength plus slow some of the heat transfer...... just my thoughts

I am actually in the process of making a stainless steel one..... I was a sheet metal tradesman in a former career, left it 20+ years ago. It's all in my head but sadly I lack workshop capacity, but I have some ways around that....
You do remember the photo of the disgusting embarrassment don't you? thats what i have to deal with...
