You suppose correctly from memory our coldest morning here on the bay last winter was 5c and the coldest day got down to just above 15c nearly had to wear jeans to work that day.
I do Indeed keep the bikes in heated storage for the winter. I have a single car garage and it's awfully nice to park the cage in there during the snowy months. I suppose you miss out entirely on the exciting rolleyes "winterizing" ritual that many of us go through on our bikes.

I loose several days of riding each winter when there is snow and ice on the road, but even when temps are at or near zero F, I still ride. I am very week minded and must have the wind therapy or I will surely perish. It is a burden I have come to accept in life...
"Separation Anxiety" isn't even the worst of it. Seasonal Depressive Disorder is a real occurrence, something about low hours of light. Spring Fever isn't just a phenomena of the birds and the bees. When women start wearing dresses again - or at least are not covered head-to-toe in woolen/thick garb - there's a measurable increase in societal "friskiness" as well.
Speaking of which, I should log off and get out of here. I saw my single lady neighbor yesterday afternoon. She was looking much more attractive than I remembered from last November. You guys are great and all, but.... Carpe Diem!
It is on and the headers are sealed! There were a few point when fitting the collector that I thought there's no way this will work. Well, it got on there. Using the helpt of Mittzy, Steel, gra53, and others, I believe I have the headers all sealed up good as well (I can't feel any air coming out and I assume it would be audibly noticeable if not sealed?).
My MC cover is off, as well as the footpeg cover plate.... no way those will go on without major grinding/fitment. I'm OK with that for now. I worry a little about melting the fluid reservoir without the cover on there. Anyone left there's off without damaging the unit?
I realise it's a bit late for you as you have already spent the money on Rebands but have a look at Rocket Science thread on the Rockets Down Under part of this site. There are no dyno numbers yet for these C.E.S. Pipes yet that is happening this week.
