I thought it was the rear brake binding slightly each rotation but new rotor proved that is not the case - rotor is not getting excessively hot either.
Only noticeable at low speeds, and seems to be each wheel rotation, there is quite a loud rubbing sound (almost a squeak) coming from the rear wheel. Bevel box oil changed approx 7000km ago and not getting overly hot. The bikes done 112,000 kms. Any thoughts Guys?

My 2012 Roadster did this at about 20k miles. Replaced with 3 OEM bearings which again crapped the bed at about 40k miles. Put in a third set NOT OEM bearings and they are still good at 80k miles.
Good info 1obull. Yes defininatly hoping it’s just a bearing(s). Decided not to risk the 300km trip home and left with dealers workshop in Dandenong They’ve been servicing the bike for 7 years before we moved away. 5 weeks before they’ll get to look at though!
Picking up a 2018 V-Strom 1000 tomorrow though so won’t be without a bike at least… phew.
I’ll pop a note on here once I know the outcome with the R3T.
Cheers fella’s

If interested, I could search out the bearings info currently in the bike.

A number of us have been using Nachi bearings from vxb.com. For the rear wheel, you only need one of each listed below. This list includes 2 for the front wheel also. These are top quality.

That might be helpful actually - only if easy for you to track down though Mate. Appreciate the offer. 👍
Hey Amigo,
I found it!
I bought these from a bearing supply company here in Tacoma, WA.
IF I ever need more for either of my two Rocket Roadsters, these will be what I purchase.
