Rear foot-boards on a Roadster ?

H-D floor board mod.

I kept the floorboards off the Street Glide I sold to get the Roadster, and cut the stems down and had them welded to some stainless brackets i had made that moved my wife's feet forward about 4 inches . She loves them, and cost next to nothing (friends ya -know). I will try to post a pic, but it was simple to design and install.

it's who you know

Apart from lack of knowledge, materials, equipment and friends 'in the business' - I could do this too!

Update

I got the Rivco extenders TR3005-5 and passenger foot-boards TR3005.

The Right hand extender looked like it would not work, but it did. The Rivco extenders have a hole for the bolt to go through plus 2 small pegs to stop rotation. The pegs need to fit in *somewhere* on the bike, The bottom pegs fit in fine, the top did not seem to have anywhere to go (no slot in the stock frame), but it worked once I tightened it all up..

The Left hand side had nowhere for the top pin/peg to go. I ended up drilling a small hole for the top pin to fit into. and using the dremel to take about 2-3 mm off the top pin. The bottom pin and the main bolt went in fine, and the smaller top pins was ok afterwards. There is not much clearance on the sides of the extender arms - probably less than 1cm - but they do work. I tested them with weight on them (220 pounds) and there is a little vertical movement but not enough to touch anything (mufflers etc.) I would still say the passenger needs to be careful standing on just one of them at a time, but it works. I will post some pics when I rescue my digital camera.

After the install there were parts left over, but that's because they don't assume you will but the extenders so I could have mounted them without extenders and used their supplied bolts instead of reusing the stock bolts.
