Hi guys, having a problem at the moment with my rear brake, really soft pedal. Did a check on my vin at the Triumph website, told me there was no recall for this bike. How can I tell if the bike has been recalled for the brakes at some stage?. Messaged the previous owner, but he's not replied yet.

to my knowledge there is official recall on the rear brake to replace the master with a larger one. It sounds to me your dealer is not up to the task as the recall is for all Rockets, at least pre- storm

A notice regarding the Triumph Rocket 3 is that there is a recall on the rear brake master cylinder, which may not move fluid properly, potentially leading to extended stopping distances; affected owners should contact their dealer to have the rear brake master cylinder replaced free of charge.

Key points about the recall:
  • Affected models: 2020-2024 Rocket 3 R, Rocket 3 GT, Rocket 3 TFC, including Rocket 3 GT Triple Black and Rocket 3 R Black.

  • Issue: The rear brake master cylinder may not move fluid consistently due to potential air bubbles, causing increased brake pedal travel.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the rear brake master cylinder with a new one.

  • Recall number: Refer to Safety Recall Action Notice SB611

Thanks for sharing this and I’m going to have the local dealer check it out when I take it in for the annual check. The rear brake on my 2024 Rocket 3 GT has been soft from the time I purchased it at a different location and so much so that I rely on front braking far more than I do on my Indian but I thought it was just a characteristic of the bike…..maybe not.
