Hello Everyone
Could anyone tell me if there is someone in England UK who can do the Re-Map on these pages for me.
I hate computers and just know that something will go wrong.
I live in the north of England (united kingdom)
Thanks
Eric

Hi Eric,

If you mean loading a tune to the bike using Tune ECU then I've done that to my R3T.

I'm based in Glasgow so definitely not England but depending how far North you are it might not be too far?

Regards

Hello There
I do not know what tune ecu is? (forgive my ignorance)
As far as I know you load a tune onto a laptop and then load it to the ECU on your bike. Is this correct?
What difference has this made to your bike?
All the best
Eric

Hi Eric ,you best do some reading in the trading tunes forum or take a trip to Glasgow :).

The trip to Glasgow sounds more fun, as long as you get to leave there as well. ;) :whitstling:

Hi Eric,

As per kippers comments there is a very detailed write up on the Forum on how to change the bikes tune under the 'R3T Derestricting' thread.

You are correct, in its basic form you install the free Tune ECU software to your laptop, buy a cable to connect the laptop to the bike and then upload your chosen tune to the bikes ECU.

I uploaded the 'R3T Stock or slip on' tune to my bike (I had just fitted TORS pipes) and it made quite a difference. The acceleration is noticeably quicker.

It was pretty easy to do - let me know if you need any help.

David

As I said , I am useless with computers. I only have to look at one and it goes wrong. If I made a trip up to you , could you load the same tune onto my bike?

Eric - WHERE North?.

Somebody can then maybe suggest a PROFESSIONAL close to you.
OK it will cost money - but it will get done right and be BESPOKE to your bike.
This will ALWAYS BE BETTER.

There are tunes out there and they MAY help or may not.
In my case for example - my R3 ran rich from factory - so most shared tunes made it run WORSE.
For my sins I work with PC's.

Then PM Captain Jack - iirc he's in Macclesfield.

In theory also my ancestral home.
I ran away from the UK when I was threatened with Wythenshawe or near Jodrell Bank as my place of work.
