did you try watching the TPS voltage while taking revs up it to trouble area of revs as I mentioned in @Steel's thread about a similar problem, my TPS test fine when checked while engine was turned of but it turned out there was worn area in the troublesome area, I had the entire fuel system and ignition coils etc apart and cleaned before working it out it was if fact the bloody TPS, worth checking as it is not obivious
it wont idle ,i don't have the tools to do it ,i could use a multimeter to try tracking ,but on using ohms on meter the tps did track smoothly ,I had tps changed 4 months ago . Wrecka offered to come pass to do tps but on wed am i think, but i booked to go to dealer in case there is other issues if only he was a day early.... but thanks to every one for all the help

Yeah mate i dont think i'll be anywhere near Sydney till around early arvo on the Wed , im just guessing but shouldnt the dealer have a way to reset TPS etc ?

yes they can do it they done it before the first time it lasted 3-4 days then they fitted new tps then bike ran fine until now about 4 months
I have had an intermittent problem with bike not idling correctly after a sustained run every so often in the last 6 mths but it often clears itself after restart or if I do the adjust ISCV in TuneECU I am suspecting it may be stepper motor related, I think it is sticking but not sure, I have been thinking of replacing it but it is pricy so I have put it on back burner for now. when it is playing up I just hold just above idle revs via throttle so is manageable, don't know if this helps I had not bothered posting this before now as it has just been intermittent.
Richards suggestion of a tune going bad is a valid one as I have heard of it happening but not as yet with a Rocket, first thing to do is reset the adaptives if you think your tune is going bad then reload a tune if still suspected.
@pete.triumph do you have TuneECU or TuneBoy cable to preform the adjust ISCV ? just to see if it might be sticking also something else you might try is .... while looking at the stepper motor reach up and turn on ignition you should see the linkage twitch back and forth if it does not then that may be the problem also check the plug which sits out in the open is properly plugged in maybe even unplug it spray some CO2 cleaner spray into it and put a dab of Dielectric grease on it and repeat the switching on of the ignition

sort of one of the plug when jiggled was making egine loose rpm but found by giving the flat pin a slight twist fixed it !
has the connectors got dielectric grease on and in them, I know I go on about it but you would be amazed the difference it makes to good connectivity
