not sure about bike but I spoke to him (@ponters) last week and as usual he is flat out working but looking forward to next weekend

Thanks, still a shame you and the others from WA couldn't make it, Also all the Qlders and Richard as well of course, ........well guess there always next year ..... where ever that happens to be?
 
waiting to see if my sick r3 will get better in time , the thought cross my mind to take my 23 y old gpz900 but i might get laughed at and not the best bike for that distance

did you try watching the TPS voltage while taking revs up it to trouble area of revs as I mentioned in @Steel's thread about a similar problem, my TPS test fine when checked while engine was turned of but it turned out there was worn area in the troublesome area, I had the entire fuel system and ignition coils etc apart and cleaned before working it out it was if fact the bloody TPS, worth checking as it is not obivious

and theres nothing wrong with an old GPZ900 I had some years ago that thing is probably still going strong did many hard km on it
