If you want to go caravan park rather than hotel/motel that is still central there is the Moana Beach tourist park, walking distance to pub and shops etc, rates look reasonable from the quick look I had

No theres no ,ore accomadation , Dean did say he thinks they have a house has well they rent , . But 9 rooms if people double up thats 18 people .

Mike i doubt if you would get more than 9 cabins at Moana caravan park , and the reason i did'nt suggest there is there is only the blue cafe , for food (brekky ) and it can be hit and miss .

Wherass pt noar has pub , surf club , about 4 cafes , chippy , thai rest , indian rest . . all within a 2-3 minuite walk from the motel..

Not sure being within walking of a pub should determine location. Be nice to be able to have the bikes near/around were we can gather for meals/drinking whatever. Caravan park or similar with cabins/vans and rooms as well as camping would be better than a motel. Bottom line for me though will be if I can get there I'll be wherever people decide.

Are these nine rooms with singles or double beds ? I still think its not enough not everyone likes to share a room . My Wife may come this time so thats 1 room gone , i have been to victor harbor and stayed at the van park with a big group of riders and didn't think it was to far to walk to the pub . Just think a van park gives you a place to sit around and drink and laugh etc .

Just my 2cents worth but i'm not arranging it .

Just rang the park to check, 18 cabins on site, but I do agree about only have the deep blue handy for breakfast, saying that the shopping centre is 10 minutes walk, and if push comes to shove I have 3 spare rooms here if all the cabins went, 5 minutes walk away
