hey has anyone booked accom yet? also whats the low down with kids. are people bringing them or not?

im thinking i might do the bach thing this year. what have you decided?

Mate I see no reason why children would not be welcome, the full intention of starting the RDU was to be a family event and Charity event.

When I started the RDU it's whole conception was to get like minded rocket owners together for a good cause. I have read quite a few sarcastic comments of what some didn't agree with or like. Even to the sarcastic comment of ownership of the RDU and the event itself.

My honest opinion we can go for a ride any where any time and most of us do several times a year, the intent was one ride a year we could do something different. Will be interesting to how far the RDU event travels around Australia.

Wish I was working a lot no where near enough. Been tied up with a lot of legal hit just to get a full medical clearance to go driving again, our legal system is a joke, not to mention extremely frustrating to say the least.

Mrs coming on like a regular demon on the old Vstar, already wanting a bigger bike, so saving pennies like their going out of fashion. She has gotten used to the bike so much just like second nature now, It doesn't get a chance to cool down most of the time.

Bateman's Bay Trip

Yes sir for sure the Mrs and I will be their without fail.

However we will be going to Newcastle about a week before that RDU ride to spend time with my brother, until recently believing he was murdered some 20 odd years ago.

Have visited my new found family 6 weeks ago, and the just left Hervey bay after visiting for a week. Paul brother 6'3", Buck eldest son 6'9", Ben youngest son 6'7". Had the best time and will be having them come along to the RDU.

Brother a Harley man through and through, took him to Rainbow beach on the back of the rocket and Kim (his wife) on the way home, blew them away with performance. I told him mine rocket is stock except for some bling and mufflers, mates bike performance wise twice as better than mine. He was suitably impressed, and can't wait to see all the different rockets.

We will travelling from Newcastle, Kangaroo Valley, and the coast to Batemans Bay. Have driven from Bathurst to the coast many time in trucks, late August to bloody cold for me, but something to experience, and you'll never forget the scenery, roads, and the cold.

Only to happy to meet up with anyone interested riding from Newcastle down.
