Sorry guys this is well over due but this the link to the park I would recommend ask for Kelly and mention the 10% discount she offered
Batemans Bay Beach Resort - 5 Star Beachfront Cabins, Caravans & Camping - Bateman's Bay Accommodation & Big 4 Holiday Park
just rang them and a nice young lady told me that Kelly doses not work there? anyway she said the 10% discount would apply and there should not be a problem online but would look into it and also when booking mention you are with the RDU group:)

Lets see who's coming and when before getting too carried away about which roads. Still a fair way off. I will say that a convoy through Kangaroo valley would not be my recommendation. It is a must see/ride route for sure but best done at a leisurely pace. The road up the coast around Bermagui and the Bay is beautiful. Now that would be great run for those coming from the South. If the Northerners aren't coming down the coast then I'd recommend coming through Bathurst, Cowra and Canberra. Amanda's pretty keen on riding down herself so I'll either be leaving from here or coming through here. Long way off though so let's see how it pans out.

I tried to book online but I think the system can't handle that far in advance. Keeps saying to ring them.

Where did I say anything about anything about it being a race you would have to be an idiot to guide people who have never ridden thru there at anything but a Leisurely pace
As I said earlier these routes were just suggestions, it is all about making it a memorable experience no danger and even a learner can ride thru the Kangaroo Valley it is a beautiful scenic route and best taken slowly to be appreciated

It'll be a race :D open rural roads .

:D:D you blokes are priceless. I love the way hanso and canberra live the odd couple dream..its so cute..tc you are just a bad man.

all of you know i only like to stroll along at the speed limit so no fast roads or twisty bits please. straight 40kph zones are my favourite :D

Odd couple, You Go Slow..... Yeah Right Smart Arse!!!.............. I was actually thinking you would like the run up from Cann River to Bombala but would equally like the slower Bombala to Wyndim, Candelo twisters and the run from Trathra up to Bermi is awesome

come on Hanso, i do mean to always keep it easy I just have some self control issues. When I grow up Im going to be sensible. I promise.

there is still plenty of open flowing roads but as you get close to Fitzroy falls (a 2 min walk from car park on main road and a must see) the road tightens up and then drops down into the Kangaroo Valley there is a nice pub and bakery there then you climb out the other side and down to Nowra and the coast then it is all decent flowing highway to The Bay

The race starts from my driveway

Bubz, Viv, Kim & Sue and any other Queenslanders that want to join us, leaving Brisbane Wednesday, Uralla Wednesday night then open to suggestions from there. Maybe ride to Bathurst Thursday (Thursday night in Bathurst) then hook up with others at Bathurst Friday for ride in to Bateman's Bay.
Sue (for Kimbo):)

I live on the Cunningham Highway just over Cunninghams Gap so if you are planning to go through Warwick that would suit me fine. You could call in for a coffee at my place and then I will join you from here.
Always open to suugestions though.
