I have actually seen that many snakes I cannot remember how many but one snake stays in my memory it was a king brown .i was out in the scrub in my truck doing some work driving along a new track that they had just made for me in between the river and two lagoons when this snake was half way across the track ,I stopped to let it get across, when the head started to dissappear the tail came out of bush on the other side of the track .this snake was at least 8 feet long . There was no way I was getting out of my truck , that snake was the type that you give plenty of respect to. I went and told the people that were working less than 100 yards away .the people there couldn't have cared a less ,the snake had been a long time resident and had never caused a problem .yeah right

Log Carters we all got snake stories, one comes to mind taking a bloke for a drive to see if he could handle a 14 hour turn around. Typical get landed with a bloke about 25 with 100 years of driving experience, got dry bogged heading into the bush, apparently all the trucks he had driving never had diff or cross lock. Jumps out the truck up at Byfield, nothing more than a big green tree python about 6 to 8 foot long nice and healthy pretty fat, comes of the stock pile and starts he way across the track under the first tank on a 650 Kenworth. Now I'm not sure what gave it away that he hadn't worked in logging, dry bogged on gravel in road, the ten foot leap from a python, or the scream like a school girl that lasted al of 30 seconds. He decided he didn't want to get back into logging after all.

Dangerous Creatures.

Just keep all the creepy creatures out of sight, like the giant snakes and killer spyders:D

Hanso right mate you don't see a lot of dangerous creatures. But you ask any of the Aussie blokes and they'll tell you the most dangerous thing here is drop bears. Mate they're ba***rds of things, Rabid Koalas, they be out of a tree chewing on the side of your face before you know it. Soon as land get you and your wife an Acubra hat, they were made especially to stop drop bear attacks.

Thanks, you are a good friend:mad::D

Never hold a mate by the neck;) a bloody good hand shake definitely :) then it be drinking time, belt a couple of quick schooners into so your lubed up for all the G'days and hand shakes you'll be having. And definitely don't be shy, when you see a head you don't know throw that hand out and say G'day, I'm a real Mexican not one of them ba***rds from Victoria, and you will get on fine.:D:D:D
