Rattley, Tinkley Sound

I think my nuts are pretty tight

try the turn singal lens covers they do not have any bolts or gaskets. or the clutch lever i changed my bars and i get a rattle at high rpms

I am like you I hate mysterious noises, I take it that it does not do it setting idling and does it do it at only certain speeds. PS. I'm glad you're nuts are tight that will be cured with age LOL

Nope, I can sit and rev it all I want and nary a noise. It usually happens under acceleration at the beginning of each upshift. And for the record I'm 54, so my nuts are well seasoned

I have to side with 'TheKid' on this, sounds very much like pre-ignition (called 'pinking' over here) - have you actually checked your ignition timing and/or fuel?

I would just take some time and tighten everything up. I developed a rattle and found that the radiator shrouds were loose on one side. I removed all of the fastners and added some loctite.

Was having a strange noise myself rattling found out the chrome exhaust cover on the right side was loose happy that that's all it was.

Mine had an irritating rattle could not find it at first eventually realised it was the chrome piece on the front fender, i put some silicone behind it and it stopped lol, could have been worse.
