Range Rover runs over bikers

Realise that there a lot of cops or retired cops on here and view situations from their ... well a cops point view . I don't care what went down between the riders and the driver of the SUV while travelling down the highway. Can't have been much other than slinging a few insults or gestures. Nothing warrants rear ending a bike rider and then running him and his bike over. Don't agree with smashing the window if there were kids or a women in the vehicle .. but .. likes been said a 911 call would have had cops there by the time that took place.

don't know where you keep getting that there were insults or gestures???? and that rider pulled in front of that suv cut him off and checked his brakes slowed down very fast in front of 2 tons of suv..and get mad when they run into his back tire???? and when he did stop the first time they came up and stated hit the suv with his wife and child in side...and surrounded them ..I would have done the same thing

In the real world - accidents happen. Years ago I was riding with a mate - who, in a daydream rear ended a lady in a car with a baby at a stop light - on his Triumph.

Did all the car drivers jump out and give him a beating? - No they jumped out and picked him up and sat him at the side of the road - then asked the local shopkeeper to call an ambulance.

Mob mentality. Sad F+cks with low self esteem who need group support to do anything. Be a shame if the SUV driver was from a Sicilian family.

We only call 911 to tell them what happened after it's over. Response time, at the best of times, equals a death sentence. As there were no cops during the multi-minute chase, I wouldn't put my faith in the cops arriving before I'm dragged from the truck and beaten.

Like the Zimmerman/Martin incident, we seem to be focused on single events that are not the most critical. Martin wasn't shot because he was black, followed, GZ got out of truck, because he was hunted, etc...he was shot because he was beating on a dude who had a gun. In this situation, the brake check and bumping from behind didn't "cause" the injury. The bashing on the truck while surrounded did. ...And, as with the GZ/TM incident, lots of things could have been done differently.

Just my thoughts...

...not to mention that, even if the SUV hit one of them on purpose and ran off, chasing him down, pulling him from his truck and beating/slashing him is not a proper or legal response in any of our countries. :)

In most instances general response time is around three minutes running hot , the chase lasted six and a half minutes. Had they called 911 when it first started, providing they had a cell phone of course, I would suspect the ending might not have been as harsh! I would venture to guess that the sound of multiple sirens headed in their direction would have diminished a great number of the gutless fu-ks!

The riders forced that vehicle to stop by intentionally putting themselves and their bikes in harms way. They parked their bikes in front of the vehicle and then tried to assault the occupants. What choice does the driver have?? Like the driver was really going to hang around to be witness to his own ass kicking? "Dear, here's some popcorn and a soda for you to enjoy while watching me get bludgeoned to death." I don't think so! A middle finger or exchange of words doesn't justify this BS! I would have done the same thing.

Clearly I see this incident differently to the majority here .. no surprises there I guess. The Asian driver tried to 'kill those riders' because they tried to stop him. No-one here knows what took place to cause this altercation. Taking the side of the car driver who drove over the riders and their bikes f#ckin baffles me.

This incident made lead story on our local TV channels news .. it called the driver " cowardly " and his actions "sickening" .. my thoughts exactly.

Obviously none of those commenting have been on the receiving end of some ****wit thinking they are safe in their 'cage' try to show 'some bikies' that they don't own the road. I have witnessed a similar situation and believe me this clown got away easy with a couple stiches and few lumps.

I wasn't gunna bother to comment on this **** but..
I think the majority of m/c riders have been involved in or seen some stupid crap dished out by people behind the wheel.
What's reported on tv and other forms of media is most of the time nowhere near the truth.
Ratings sell...
We did not see the lead up to the beginning of the recording and in my mind the driver was obviously afraid for his own and families safety.

Self preservation makes a man do stupid things at any cost.

And a group of riders out for a leisurely Sunday ride in a group like that.
Taking up the whole road?
The majority of them without number plates on their bikes.
On their way to church maybe. I think not

Could well have been something as simple as the car not moving over to let the bikes through in a pack , we've all seen that happen. Could have been the car driver cut into the pack or the bikes could have cut the car off .. I don't know. What he did when one of the riders was going to give him a talking to ( or even a smack) was attempted murder.
