I've installed mine about 3 weeks ago and haven't had any problems yet. The unit is a pretty tight fit over the intakes. Just don't over tighten the hose clamps me thinks.
Well ordered the kit from Ramair and it was delivered about 6 days later (Good from UK to Oz).
Filter was crushed in transit so i took some photos and sent them to Ramair.
I received no feed back but an email turned up the next day with tracking information from UK mail.
Replacement filter turned up about a week later and all fitted no problems. Gotta love that for service.
Santa delivered a set of Rivco risers this morning and a few hours later all fitted.
Its a bit warm today about 35 C so haven't gone for a ride so just chilling in the pool.
I was feeling lazy but now for all those whose bikes are now tucked away for winter I shall go out and enjoy the day. Maybe up Mount Dandenong some nice windys and some relo's to bludge a coffee off.
Stay warm Idaho Red
What I did was tighten the clamps so they would just stay on the filter. Then place the filter in place on the throttle bodies.
With one finger on the clamp I tightened until I could just not move the clamp on the body then rotated the screw 1/2 a turn. Then repeated the same for the other clamps.

Well gentlemen back from a ride in the foothills.
The bike breathing a bit easier and a bit throatier inlet roar.
The risers have definitely made the seating position better (the lower back is thanking me) also the gear shifting is quicker with the leg less compressed(old injury).
A sunny day blat through the Dandenong Ranges even the lycra clad cyclists added some interesting moments.
May have to just do it again.
I will be installing the Ramair filter shortly .
I will eventually look at exhaust options but not in the immediate future.
Do I need to load a modified tune or will the 12 minute tune be enough.
