RAMAIR Filters bespoke Rocket-3 underclaw filter.

RP605/3 is the kit umber here in OZ. I won't reply to you if you don't send me a message. The company here is different to USA so maybe the pt number is too. They are the same type of sock which folk use on 45DCOE Weber carb bellmouths. They do and will fit over the stock stacks. )

Those filters in link are smaller than mine ,mine are 5ish inch long and fit onto stock rubber velocity stacks with releasable cable ties

I went onto the OZ site and found this kit -it's only 65mm ID so it must stretch over the stacks fairly tightly. I searched the US site again -have not found any comparable product.

Get on to Neville and he'll have them there to you faster than it will take you to track them down, just saying

Hey fitted mine last week and not 100% sure i put the little vacuum gauge thing back onto the right connection, there are two plugs the same that the vacuum thingo can plug into , one has pink wires and the other has different colored wires , been running it all week with it connected to the pink wire plug but im not sure it's running correctly , seems to run rough at times and starting to get backfires on the odd occasion when i throttle off from around 3000rpm and change down a gear . Fuel economy is still fine , induction noise changes at around 3000rpm sounds like it's slightly off timing by the sound coming from the filter, is that normal ? Im assuming the vacuum thing is like a vacuum advance or something ? Can someone please give me a heads up on what plug it goes back into so i can eliminate it from the cause of the misfire.

Even at idle the tacho jumps a little bit and a intermittent miss can be heard occasionally , would the spark plugs need changing after only 16000 klms ?

here's some pics of the vacuum thing and the plugs

I don't know about the cables, but my Ramair changes induction noise as well, at times. Depending on throttle position that filter may actually sound like a 250cc parallel twin with severe nasal obstruction. No backfiring though. Maybe you're just running a bit lean now?

Thanks mate , i was 80% certain it was that one , opened it all up again and checked all connections and leads , one of the spark plug leads wasnt seated on the plug correctly , hopefully that was it , riding it to work tomorrow will gimme an idea if it was.

As for running lean shouldnt be as i uploaded a Hanso modded map for it , if coin is available i might throw a set of plugs in before RDU
