Ram Air why? All information

In the photo of the parts kit you can see a small round filter and a black cable
What are these pieces and what are they used for?

I have read many threads about the Ram Air but all the data is scattered throughout the forum. I want to gather here all the possible information to learn and be able to explain it to my Spanish friends. Here are the best wise guys from R3 and I ask you to show me please, thank you
I do not have financial resources, I am saving little by little to be able to buy one for my R3 and to install it
I have many doubts and questions, I hope have patience with me
Sorry for the English translated from Google
my 2 cents if you are staying with stock exhaust the ramAir upgrade is not worth it. Also- you'll chug more gas so this will be an issue if you are doing distance riding

¿Qué fugas me recomiendan instalar?

Ok I'm not much for typing as most people on this site know or experienced already. :) as stated with these type of filtration modifications you can gain power, add good exhaust you can gain more power. I am not going to voice my opinion on whether foam filters are better than cotton filters like the K&N filters. I've ran both types. I will say the money is well spent provided the bike is tuned for what you want. Yes you can loose fuel efficiency if you tune it that way. And yes you can still tune it to be fuel efficient. Therefore I will point out if you do the work and maintence on the bike it is worth it just for ease of maintenance. If you do not and you pay someone else to work on your bike you might be getting charged the same but be making it easier for the mechanic to do the work. @barbagris can probably translate this better so I'll step aside.

Gracias @warp9.9 para su aporte, leí muchos mensajes suyos en el foro, quiero aprender y trabajar en mi motocicleta, también quiero mejorar la bicicleta tanto como pueda y pueda.
Toda la información es buena para mí y para aprender.

Ram Air offers a very nice comprehensive kit. The instructions are clear, and easy to follow with photos.

That being said, without also installing a better flowing exhaust and a proper dyno tune the cost vs gain benefit is negligible.

Better to save your money and do both and you will net real, tangible torque and horsepower.

Good advice to be sure, Jeff!
They go together like pudendum!
