Here is the first DAY from Dave's @breeze in Bloomfield, NM
The hotel is the "Best Western Turquiose Inn & Suites" - 535 E. Main St. - Cortez, CO 81321 - 970-565-3778
Use "RAA" and/or my name to get two bed rooms at $111.00 rate.
As of now they have 19 rooms available (2 Nites) for the 12th & 13th.
I have reserved three two bed rooms already for myself.
Call in your rezzies - sooner the better.

The famous Mesa Verde Nation Park is 10 miles away to the east (the way we shall ride in from) so we shall have the option to stop before checking into the hotel or check in first and ride back there.

Here is the third DAY
Cortez, CO to Mexican Hat, UT 89 miles
We stay day 3 & 4 at the San Juan Inn - Hwy 162 & San Juan River - 435-683-2220, use "RAA" for group
Rooms are $130 for two beds and this place is beautiful!!! I have my three rooms reserved.

We are going to be playing room russian roulette and reserve when the time draws near.


Those that expressed interest in meeting up for the ride to Bloomfield...
I plan to leave Houston Wed morning, headed north on 45 to Alma, then 287 to Amarillo(~8.5hrs;~570miles(add time for stops in here)).
Spend the night
Leave Amarillo Thurs morning on 40 to Bloomfield. ~7hrs; 450miles , again add time for stops
That'll give us the Friday morning to run up 550(Million $ Highway) and any others we can fit in Dave advises is worthwhile.

Anyone interested is welcome to meet us along the way. We'll pretty much follow the same route back.


***EDIT*** This is assuming I decide to bring the BMW instead of the Ducati. In case of bringing the Duc, we'll potentially trailer and make the drive in 1 day.
 
I wanna ride your K1300S if you bring it, I'll trade you for a ride on my Carpenter barge.
 


Dave is close to the main intersection, but I shall put out a map when we get closer to the event.
You'll likely need it because his address is not on Google Maps and a tad hard to find.
You'll need to know where you're going. REALLY try to not show up after dark . . . you'll be sorry . . .

There are other places in & near the small towns we will visit.
As you likely have seen, there is a ride involving a circle ride over the Milly Hwy, Telluride and back.
Montrose to Ouray is dullsville, I just did it last June.
