RAA fall launch

Sounds like alot'a fun. I know it will be. I have things on the plate here. But you never know. If I went, I would have to put another set of Dunlop's on Velma. Man she wears them out. Say, anybody ever replace the skid plates on the bottom of the running boards on a Touring? Just kidding, hell, Orgie ain't coming, I wouldn't be rubbing them in the turns (yea right )! Good ridding down there, Ya'll be carefull and have drink for me.

Its 7:55 pm Wed and the fun hasn't started yet. My guess is Thursday morning. When the power goes out the generator gets fired up along with the grill. BBQ in a storm is just too funny. People down wind are trying to figure out who is the idiot BBQing in a hurricane. Me.
Love it. This one is moving slow so now I have to worry about trees coming down due to the soaked ground.
Management at my job bought 4800 bottles of water. That means they plan to stay running until the power goes out then keep everyone there. Not this coonass. I plan to leave work before it gets that bad. BBQ !!!
 
I guess I'll be heading south first. I'm leaving Friday afternoon to visit family in Va. and picking up Kooler for the ride across. Should be a fun ride. Do I bring rain gear?
