RAA East 2020 West Virginia

Next week, 1st week in April, the USA is going to look like Italy. 1000 dead overnight! 30% of the nation unemployed. I just don't see this mess flying over in 10 weeks. As the days pass it is going to be just dangerous. I guess I am a possey but, at the present time traveling over 1300 miles from home leaving Cathy and the dogs alone in the middle of this mess doesn't look right. I have not cancelled yet but getting close.

Texas is officially a disaster area and this is just starting here. I will have to cross several states on my way there and stay for the night several times. One could catch this anywhere. If the case load is still increasing and the news and updates are mostly stay in place, I will not travel. I could bring the Yukon and shelter in it but, you still have to use the rest room. Still have to gas up, eat and so forth. If the situation is about what it is right now, I will stay home and protect my Cathy, the dogs and myself.

I survived Influenza B this season, at home. Coughed so hard that it hurt like I had done 1000 sit ups. Going to an ICU with hundreds of folks in desperation gasping for air is something I don't want to experience. I served in some of the busiest ICUs in the USA. It is tough in there.

I have reduced lung function due to chemo from the second run in and no spleen from the first run in, so I most likely won't be attending. I'm not throwing in the towel just yet, but things would have to change dramatically for me to go

Same problem, Fred, I'm really hoping they come up with a vaccine or treatment that can forgo a year of testing.

The Duk O' Death is immune!!!

Ricardo,
There is always the Corona Pipe?!
