Montros.co is 35 miles away Durango.co is 70 miles away. From what I under stand we are wanting to ride out from Ouray.co. I guess we need to figure out if we want a home place every night of a different place every night if all of our rides start from Ouray.co then we need to be close to Ouray.co
Ouray is on the way to Montrose from Durango or the same going the other way all rides do not have to go out of Ouray all the rides bull have layed out go from Montrose. my opinion for what its worth is Montrose is not very friendly or a place I would not want to stay in after riding the distance some of you are traveling(to much concrete ,glass, people)granted it is closer t I70interstate,rides bull layed out are great rides if you plan it right you can almost do all those in 2 days if you spend night in another spot one night.suggest checking out gand canyon(although a good long ride for one day 2 days easy rideplus time to see)mesa verde indian ruins.maybe be a pain if you need reservations in a different spot every night theres also telluride /cortez/ ridgeway/ lonewolflodge.com got some 3/2/1 bedroom cabins she said between them and next door (bear paw)has room for everyone HOW MANY ANYWAYS IVE BEEN GUESSING 25 TO 30 ?LIKE I SAID EALIER I AM SPENDING THE WEEKEND IN OURAY I live close by do all these rides 5 to 6 times a year what can I do for you ?always Durango mountain resort.com.also plenty of different accomidation packages
I am looking forward to this, I have a friend from England that is going to come over and either buy a bike or take one of mine and come along. Another friend may ride up from Texas. Be nice to him, he rides a Harley, I think.
I think the logistics of a rolling ride might be tough, that's a lot of accommodations for a lot of people. And some may like a day of rest or 2 after riding all the way across the country to get there.

The dates are set but I think those that know the area should pick the central location. Calling and dropping in on hotel prospects would be helpful. Mom and pop hotels would be good too. Staying at a different location every night poses too many problems.
Please be sure to explain that this is a bike thing without the biker persona and ask for group rates !!
