It's growing on me, but I'm already too sexy for my R3 Classic. I would really over whelm the touring model. But that's just my own extremly modist and humble opinion:rolleyes:

if I had the cash I 'd have both... leave my R3 stripped and light for fun and playtime

use the R3T for my daily work and long haul... its not unusual for me to go out on sat or sun and doo 500+ miles in one sitting

I want to thank you for working the holiday and posting these pics Pig9r. I came from Athens in the freezing rain and snow to see the show and get some pictures and 1st impressions of the new tourer. As you can see it is Black and my new camera went with an old picture taker so even the anti shake didn't do so hot. Anyway I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and this is what comes as the basic model. A midsize quick release screen, different foot controls and floorboards, and of coarse the bags. With some restriction in the opening due to the latches but seemed secure in closing and appeared to be weather tight. A sticker on the speedometer said, "40MPG ". The rear fender was of interest to me as I wanted to see what it would look like without the bags. Retro and Rhunish come to mind. Anyway I saw wanted to see and it would seem to be a baggers dream come true.
Bob D&D has a new r3T sitting on the sales floor, I have sat on it a few times feel real good and looks real good also.

I saw it Dave, have yet to have the bags off to see how it looks but those brackets are permanent. It looks ok, they must have sold a few already.

Bob, that is actually the only one that they have had in so far. They have two more coming but not there yet.
Dennis
