I'm a Victory Convert Now

I traded it in on a new 2012 Victory Cross Country in Metallic Red & Silver two-tone. I got about $1500 over Kelley Blue Book trade-in value for the R3T. My payment is only $155 per month for four years. The Triumph was $193 a month for five years so I think I did ok. Big difference in power but the bike is about 100 pounds lighter, has a cruise control, an overdrive tranny, air adjustable rear shock, antilock brakes and a streamlined batwing fairing with a stereo radio with full intrumentation & digital info readouts. Did I mention the seat height is about 3 inches lower? A different animal but a very sweet ride. So far-so good.

The XC is a fantastic bike, I love mine...added lloyds cams, d&d pipes, performance filter, his electronics to tune the bike, polk speakers, HID lights- A MUST DO, STOCK ARE CRAP! its a very comfy ride..

D&D Pipes

Fed Ex just delivered my D&Ds today. I had them installed in about 45 minutes or so. Took a litle test spin and they do sound nice. Just a little decel pop occasionally but not bad. I'll probably just get the reflash at the dealer when I get the 500 mile break-in oil changed out and that ought to hold me till springtime.

Good for you!! That's a nice bike. I know I will get bashed and trashed for saying this, but if I was to sell my Rocket, I would go back to another new Harley bagger. With a few mods the engine will run right and the things are way more comfortable on long rides than my R3T. Especially with the six speed trans.

Again,,,,I like my R3T and it will be my last bike, at least that's what my wife says. But hey,,, one never knows!

Confucius says,,, "If momma ain't happy, ain't no one happy!"
I also wear the pants in the family. Unfortunately,,, she tells me which ones to wear.;)

Ain't that the truth. My wife insists she'll never tell me what to buy and what not to buy. But, there's no mistaking what's really behind the words when she says 'Get whatever you want, I don't care'. Yup, got it dear....

That's it

That's OK with me. I probably shouldn't be hanging around much on this forum anymore being as I am no longer a Rocket III owner. It just wouldn't look right to the other owners out there. I don't want to get flamed or be thought of as some sort of trouble maker. Thanks to all of you guys for bearing with me and trying to help me out.
