tors

They do not eliminate the cat converter. They sound a little louder

then stock, but not much. There is no tune to allow one to eliminate

the cat but maybe someone will come up with an aftermarket tune for

this. Triumph has no plan for this according to my dealer. If you

hear of any progress in this regard please post me and I will do the

same.

I think tuneboy is working on this but so far I haven't seen anything yet but will post if I find out

I believe the TORS do eliminate the cats. On the R3T the cats are in the same housing as the muffler. The tune for the TORS is 20235, Tuneboy can load the tune. I don't know if Wayne has the new tunes up on his website yet but I loaded 20235 last week.

I'm picking up a set of D&D pipes this afternoon. They also eliminate the cats.

GPM, where can one get the 20235 tune? is it R3T specific?

Any Triumph dealer can load the tune. They do it as part of installing the TORS. Both the standard tune and the TORS tune are R3T specific.

Wayne at Tuneboy is also in the process of making the tunes available for the R3T. I don't think they are listed on his site yet, but I got a copy from him and loaded it myself.

I installed the D&D's today. They also eliminate the cat and are a straight through design with a fiberglass (I think) core baffle. They are louder than stock but by no means would I call them loud.

Will get in touch with Wayne, am waiting on a set of RAASKs hopefully in a couple of weeks, tuneboy should be here tomorrow

had a reply, sounds like only minor things holding up the R3T tune

"we have the maps for the R3T but have to soft out a couple of issues.
At the moment we cannot change the rev limit and some of the cells in one of the fuel maps, apart from that they are ready."
