R3T Rivco Risers

1 inch up and 2 back. If you are free on Wednesday or Thursday I will meet ya half way if you want to get a feel for them

Got to work but thanks for the offer. We will run into each other sooner or later. Same club, same state, and only about 70 miles apart. I am in no big hurry to change anything out. I have to get my Trophy back on the road, then finish up on the '73 HD chopper, then get the engine rebuilt in my "83 HD. Then I can start doing some changes on the R3T. I would like to check them out sometime. We will see what is coming up in the next month or so around here.

6 bend pull back handle bars

I finally had the opportunity to take some pics. Sorry for the delay. They are in my album.

I just installed the Rivco risers on my R3T. The risers themselves went on easy enough. I didn't care for the gap on the back end of the clamps. The instructions did mention there would be a gap. WTF ?

I had a problem with re-routing the clutch cable. Once I disconnected it from the lever, I couldn't get it back on. I ended up disconnecting it at the bottom end (on the tranny) and slowly figured out how to re attach the cable bracket. Pain in the ass. But it's done.

BTW, the risers do move the bars back 2 1/2 inches and raise them a little over an inch. I haven't ridden yet, but just sitting on the bike I can tell they're going to be great.

After a day riding with the new risers, I can say I'm glad I went ahead and got them.

Much improved riding position for me. I sit back enough, my arms aren't stretched, and my back and neck don't get sore after half an hour.

Nice.
