R3T Chrome Bling project by Ishrub

@Joesmoe - I think this thread may be better located in Bearclaw corner titled as 'R3T rebuild' or similar.

I havelocated all my bits required and it is really a project story.

After finding and selling a couple of new sets of discontinued fog lights before I got the R3T I never thought I would find any again.

Bingo, yesterday a bargain new in box set for Au$399 +Au$13 postage,
A9938095 FOG LAMP KIT Rocket III Touring

and for good measure a new Sissy bar bag to match my tank bra. Or maybe I will use the plain unstudded versions in the shed already.

I reckon most of that could be repaired and not replaced.
Yep but costs a bomb too! The RH pannier is really a write off except for internal parts and latch. The badges on pannier and tank totalled and bottom pannier is cracked/split wide open and deformed at rear. I have bent the front fender back and may put a tip of some kind to disguise. The bearclaw has to be stock as a repairable write-off to get back on the road and by reducing the obvious rashed bits it makes it more feasible and used parts or even new bits help reduce the overall 'rat wreck' to 'shabby chic' look I think they call it;):D

All the essentials have been found now, plus a few accessories.

For the rest of optional accessories etc it is just a rummage in the Tardis.
