R3R Vibration Problem

I'd look the mechanic in the eyes and tell him he's a ***in liar. I've ridden 4 different R3s, plus mine, and never felt any vibration. But I'm not known for always being politically correct.

I hate that BS no effort answer ... "It's normal, they all do it". No fricken way. It is not normal. No they don't all do it. Both of mine did/do not, 4 of my friend's do not.

Somebody make one of the vote threads so we can put in writing something he can show the dealer.

I hear ya, on the drive over I knew what the answer was going to be, but I figured sugar is better than vinegar. Don't want to give myself a heart attack over this.

After I rode the bike home today my daughter took me back to the dealer to get my truck. I went in an talked to the manager, who rides R3's all the time and he agreed the bike should not vibrate. Told me he would research the issue and do whatever it takes to make it right. We'll see. Either way I'm not giving up on the R3R, either the dealer fixes it or I'll find someone else that can. Even with the vibes I don't think I can ride anything else now, the power and handling on this thing defies physics. Glad I bought the R3R and glad I joined this forum. Thanks all for your responses and support. Much appreciated.

Tell him that if the lying ******* of a mechanic ever goes near your bike again - you'll sue. I'd even suggest dismissal as being a suitable response for damaging the dealerships reputation.

R3's might buzz a bit when pushed but it's a triple. Triples in general run smooth. As long as the clutch actually disengages when you need it to - there is no such thing as too much freeplay. I have a lot more than 3mm.

Mechannic probably wouldn't notice if a Vibrater was shoved up his Arse!!!!!!!
my ol 08 Buzzed a little when you really get on it but otherwise was silky smoooth

well adjust it so you remove most of the freeplay and that will remove most of the vibes
