Be sure you get the longer lead kit for R3 so the relays will go under the tank rather than headlight buckets. Also, there is an option for "Low beam cut off", it will be a handy option later on for turning off the headlights for cold weather starting and while doing work on the bike. You don't have to install a switch for it right away, you can just jumper the extra lead and leave it under the tank for now until you need it later. It's a cheap option and can be very handy, I use it to shut off the lights for extra battery charging ability. (and for being sneaky )

Oh yeah, and since it's just a low beam cut off you can ride around with the lights off if you want and have the ability to turn them on quickly just by hitting the high beams.

Oh the Matte black is the faster of the Roadsters by the way

Mully, the matte one only seems faster coz you're riding it the way you used to ride that zx10. Do you still have rubber on that back tyre?
 


I believe you remember I went to the dark side because of a nail in motorcycle tyre. But looking at the DS tire yesterday I can tell Im wearing it quicker than what I thought I was... need to slow down I guess so it will last a little longer.
 
WELCOME TO THE ROCKET WORLD they are rather addictive I test rode one it took me 3 years before I could afford one but it was worth the wait.
ooh while you are under the tank doing the relay upgrade rip out all that plumbing to the airbox remove the secondary throttles put on some K&N's make her breathe then hang on... when you do that then you will know why we never stop grinning oh if you want more piss the original exhaust of and really friggin hang on

I'm going to take your advice as soon as I get back from a 6700 mile cross country trip I'm making at the end of the month, unfortunately it won't be on the Rocket though because it's not ready yet (ignition, bags, etc) so I'll be riding the Harley.
