Hi Guys and Gals!

My name is Ty and I still can't believe I'm here! I've been a lifetime HD rider, hell my club name is Harley but here I am. Three weeks ago I went to an area Triumph Dealer with a friend of mine because she needed me to trailer an old Honda of hers there for minor repairs, well as she's handling the paperwork I glanced over at this beast of a bike and said out loud 'What is that' the owner laughed and said it was a Rocket 3 Roadster, before I realised it I was sitting on it and my friend was laughing because she didn't think she'd ever see me on anything other than a Harley (neither did I). I tried to fight off the urge but a week later I gave in and now I'm the proud owner of a matte black R3R and smiling from ear to ear!

I know what you mean.
Went in to the dealer to check out the Thunderbird Storm.
Nice bike. Next to it was a Roadster. What a beauty. Sat on it and it fit like a glove. Started it and had to have it. Still loving it.

all my club brothers still ride harleys,
but KNOW they can't touch the rocket on the highway,
if I decide to twist the wick.....
It chaps their asses, but it's just a fact of life.
Harleys are over rated, over priced, over the top inferior...

G'day and welcome from Oz... Ex HD rider, yep me too. Riding one day and swapped my '07 Dyna with a Rocket riding mate just to see what he was smiling about. Traded the Dyna for my gloss black Standard within a month.That was 2 years and 80,000 klms ago, i've been smiling ever since.

Welcome from Kansas. Once you get past the brand thing and just ride a bike for what it does you'll find you enjoy it more. That said you'll find your new Rocket smokes any Harley short of purpose built drag bikes.
