yeah, most people say my seat is as comfortable as a park bench and i personally thought the same.

truth is on short rides its so much nicer to have something softer that adds a bit to the suspension and general comfort. But every time i ride for longer than 1 hour i get confused why people are complaining about getting stiff when im as fresh as a bell. in the 2500k journey to hbay i never once got uncomfortable.

so for me the corbin is king but many of my mates dont understand why i like it. truth is i love it. no pressure points, no numbness just a bit firmer than id like.

I liked the Firmness it reminded me of the seat my Laverda Jota had it used to get more comfortable the further you rode and after putting your seat on my bike and going for a spin around Hervey Bay I liked it, that is why it is on My to do list but I am looking to get Dual set up so My Utopia back rest will be up for sale along with my rider and pillion gel seats

I'm still not clear on the mounting as I only saw a video of it done to the front of a rear pillion for the rider's back. Does the mounting bracket work in either direction?
Anyway I sent them an Email. Will go for it if I get the right answers.

I bought mine of a member on the forum a couple years ago can't remember his name but he gave me an extra bracket to suit a Roadster (only slightly different to the others but the point I wanted to make is that the backets can be mounted without the pillion seat in place as the bracket goes under the riders seat using the pillionseat bolts

I have contacted Utopia and received a response.
For the Roadster, their back rest requires the use of the rear pillion seat and bracket.
I suppose one could simply saw the bracket off; but, that would ruin any future use or value of the rear seat and I'm not sure it would look good.

the bracket in this picture was made for the previous owner of my Utopia backrest it is basicly the same as the one Utopia supply but with wings to use all the normal pillion seat mount bolts it is made from 1/4 inch (5mm) flat plate and if you were handy with a welder it is simple to make, just make exact copy of the one they supply and weld on the wings which are set at slight angle to follow the contour of the guard. Alternatively there might be someone near you with an original Std (pathetic excuse for a) Seat that are will to give it to you
