I'm not understanding how you were wrong. The link I posted said it's a Rocket motor that's been destroked to 1690 cc.

from reading that webpage it seems although the idea might have been based on a Rocket 3 engine (big triple), there are probably more actual Rocket 3 parts in my freezer than are in that dragster

As is true of any top fuel or prostock bike.

I enjoy the fact that someone's doing something different but...

At 500hp and a 900lb race weight, an R3 could theoretically run a 7.09 @190mph.

I would be much more impressed with a street bike with wheelie bars added for the track running a 7 @ 190 than a top fuel bike running mid 6s.
