R3 + shortbed = what the hell are you doing?

Have 12 foot ramps and a long bed, with a wheel choc mounted in the truck. Works really well as long as the ramps are dry. That high speed downhill reverse off a wet ramp gets a little bit exciting.

I leave the bike off and in 1st gear. I use the front brake and clutch at the same time with both feet on the ground when backing down. That way you can lock up both tires if need be. I find traction an issue loading, but never unloading.

all that is moot when you use a winch
 
Sorry mate, but you wear all your buttons upfront on display flashing and like a kid in a lift I cannot resist pushing them all occasionally

I trailer with a UHaul like you.
How much front fork compression?
Where do you anchor the rear straps?
How much compression on the rear straps?
I ask because I saw mine fall off the straps onto it's side.
