R3 Rider's backrest seats.

I have the long haul seat with a backrest on my touring and have been pretty happy with it. I will tell you on a long ride my airhawk pad is what makes a difference. I’ve always been reluctant to spend big money on another seat as I am not certain it will really make a difference.
Those Longhaul Touring seats, a Dual, is no longer available and they sell the Solo and Comfort pillion together as its upgrade replacement now. They are are a pretty cushy seat too!

I have got to say Peter that the Corbin with the Fehling backrest behind it is VERY comfortable...the firmness of the corbin is great on longer rides and the backrest has that ability to add a bag.

I know this is an old thread, but maybe someone will have the answer. I bought a NOS T2302130 long haul seat off of eBay. There were no instructions in the box. What is the black T shaped bracket and bolt for that came with the seat? For the life of me I cannot figure this out. Thanks for the help.

I took a look at some pictures, I have a Long Haul seat, but it's a one piece (with the riders backrest). I've had mine off and on quite a bit, including having a solo seat for awhile. Sorry, I can't make any sense of that bracket, either! Maybe some others here have an answer. My curiosity is piqued now.

...i think i know the piece your mentioning...it goes under the seat and bolts into those three holes there...it gives support for the pillion seat otherwise the seat moves up and down..
