Hey Everybody; What is the most mileage anyone's heard of on this bike and what are the progression of mileage worries. All comments welcome. Thanks Bubba :?:

Only a little over 20,000 on mine so I'm not competent enough to speak of longevity YET.
I will offer this though,
there's a Harley sittin beside it out there and I drove my truck for a chase vehicle yesterday instead of riding that.
Every mile I've ridden her has been a blast.

Life Check

Yeah I have approx.14,000 and wonder how it would hold up to say a Harley. I love mine but, with all the clunks and transmission pop's just wondering. I would much rather be on this Old Girl. It's hated by most Harley riders as will run most if not all of their asses off. Just wondering if 100,000 is possible. I know that a BMW touring and Gold Wing these life times are easily possible. I just love the power and torque of My rocket and don't want to ride something I can't hear running. If You think (they) "The Harley Guys" look at You funny when You ride up on a Beast. Imagine what They think when You buzzzz in on a BMW 1220 touring pea shooter. Please don't mind Me I'm just blowing off some steam after getting stabbed in the back after19 years of marriage. Later Bubba

Hello MM Rocket

Yours is the exact as mine. Thanks all your response was great. I just didn't have any idea of long term mileage and hadn't found anything. Thanks Bubba

27000 miles and I have just had to fit new clutch plates and springs. Replaced the actuator shaft even though it was not too badly worn. All other components were in good shape. Just had its' third oil change from new. It is just about 2 and a half years old. 8)

I bought my '05 last year with 26,xxx miles on it. The previous owner was positively anal about maintenance, and the bike looks nearly like new. The engine and transmission feels very tight, and there is no play in the drive train at all. I was hesitant to buy it with that many miles on the odometer, but after looking at his maintenance records and the price, I was convinced that I had found a sound motorcycle.

Maybe a stupid question but isnt the recommended oil change 3000 miles even with synthetic? If this is not correct then I am way over maintaining.
