R3 Clear indicators

Those are really really nice lenses. I would have loved to get some of those, but I decided to go another route. I got some new mirrors with LED indicators built in and a Badlands Whiskers license plate frame with built in LED indicators. I think I'll be happy with those. I'm not too sure about the mirrors, but I won't see for a couple more months. Still in Iraq, had the woman take pictures of some stuff I ordered recently.

Vinkster,
I had no idea you were in the sandbox.
Serving or employment?
Either way, thanks for what you're doing.

Army. Second deployment. First deployment was in the Air Force. Got bored of that after 6 years and got out. Wanted a change, so I joined theArmy. I'm not even that patriotic, just feels like a good fit.

Thanks for the appreciation. We don't get thanked as much anymore. For years before 9/11, we didn't get thanked. For a few years after, we got thanked by anyone that could walk. Now it's more, "Why are you still there in Iraq? I thought we were pulling out."

I could not find any clear lences, so I had to make them my self. They are casted from epoxi, pollished and then coated with PMMA. The mould can only do 10 - 20 pcs before it has to be replaced and it cost fortune in silicon to make and that is a huge part of the price.

The epoxi is an extra UV stabile grade and the PMMA coating give an extra UV protecion. Still I do not know how long they will last in a varmer climat. The Swedish sun is too weak for a test. The only guarrantee I can give is that I will replace them if you are not happy with the performance.

I sell them for EUR 20 /pcs, (EUR 76 /set) free shipping or USD 29/pcs, (USD 110/set). This is a pure hobby and I do not make them to get rich and you only pay after you have approved them.

It takes 48 hour to make one, so expect a delivery time of a few weeks.
Hellfire - but those are bloody good.

I stopped by my Triumph dealer and asked about the Thunderbird indicators. I don't think they will work. The R3s use two screws to attach. The T-birds use 4 internal tabs that insert to the inside of the housing, which have slots to accept the tabs. Changing the entire turn signals won't work, because they are completely different. Too bad, cause they look sharp.
