R3 Classic headlight bracket

Hi all. Discovered a fair bit of rust on the headlight bracket with paint peeling off. Is there an easy way to remove this bracket for a clean-up and repainted? The grommets and stays are inserted in the top and bottom of the fork spacers. Can't see any other way than disassembling the whole lot. Any advise appreciated before I start. The service manual doesn't provide any help that I can see. Cheers

when i bought mine the guy had dropped it into a pole and bent that bracket i assume that u would have to remove the top (triple tree ?) in order to remove the headlight bracket.

Hi thanks for reply. Yes, I sorted it by removing the top bracket, releasing the nut that holds that triple tee and releasing the fork clamps. Also had to release throttle cable as I couldn't get the bracket up high enough to remove the headlight bracket. All good now, rust removed repainted and ready for re-assembly.
